I have always been a fan of simplicity when it comes to my outfits, just classic and chic. This time of year it is always difficult to look chic while still remaining warm. The solution: layers….a lot of layers, to create those practical outfits without sacrificing style. Why sacrifice style for warmth when you can have both?! While you might want to pile on every item of clothing you own to stay warm, the key is to layer without looking bulky. Today’s look factors in those layers.

Build your look with the most neutral foundation; black turtleneck. These are a winter staple in my winter wardrobe. Add different textures to keep your outfit looking interesting. I layered a fur gilet on top of my favorite Zara leather jacket, paired with black skinny jeans and pointed Chelsea boots. An all black outfit….surprise surprise.
